Mom and dad put me back in the bowl. What a difference that 5 months, lots of milk and Gerber baby vegetables make. Look how I've grown!

Reid and his daddy had a busy weekend together. This was my weekend to work. On Saturday they attended a party for Jim Myers (Jordan's dad, Garland's "Pop") wishing him well as he heads off to hike the Appalachian Trail. He will be away for about 6 months. We ask for prayers for Jim and his family as he embarks on this journey. Then on Sunday, which was Reid's 5 month birthday, they went to Garland's Christening at Washington Pike United Methodist Church. Craig said that she was gorgeous and that the ceremony was really nice. I hope to have some pictures of her soon. After the ceremony, Kay and Jim hosted a brunch to honor Garland. I was really upset that I missed this special time.

We took Reid to the doctor today for his 4 month check-up. Yes, he is almost 5 months. We are alittle behind since he has been under the weather this last month. He weighed 15 pounds and 6 ounces putting him in the 39 percentile. He is 26 inches long which is the 67 percentile. His head circumference is 42 and 27 percentile. Dr. Rimer said that he looked great and gave us the "Go ahead" on starting vegetables then fruits. He is doing great eating his cereal every morning. Doing much better with using the spoon. He is growing so fast and everyday he is doing something new. He is reaching and batting at things of interest and making lots of new faces. We are really enjoying his energy and personality.

Reid was able to spend alot of time outside yesterday and he loved it. He played in the exersaucer in the driveway and we strolled up and down the street. Craig was working in the garage on the Jeep so we supervised some of that as well. Last night we went over to Angel and Nathan's to eat pizza. The kids had a great time. It is great watching them interact with one another. Be are blessed to have such great relationships with Craig's siblings and their families.
