Reid can sit up on his own for 30 seconds to one minute or so. We are working on this.  Today Reid and I went for a surprise visit to Craig's work.  This was the first time Reid has been to Craig's work when he was awake.  He was very excited to see everyone especially his daddy.

Me and my Daddy are best buddies!!

Reid's 4-month birthday was yesterday.  Wow, how time flies by.  I worked yesterday so Reid spent the day with his daddy.  They watched the Daytona 500.  Craig is getting him started early learning about what goes on around here on Sunday afternoons.  Reid is getting better.  He is still coughing alittle and congested when he drinks his bottle.  But for the most part, he is better.  This has been a long week.  We are so thankful that he is better and pray that he doesn't get anything else this winter.  The flu has hit hard this last week so we want to avoid that.  This week and weekend at work has been crazy busy.  Lots of viral infections including flu, RSV, gastroenteritis, rotavirus and lots of strep and pneumonia.  It really hit this week.  Last year February was the peak month for illness in the state as well.  All I can say is Wash, Wash, Wash...wash your hands as much as possible.

Craig and I had plans to take Reid outside this weekend for a stroll since the weather was going to be nice.  Instead we spent Saturday afternoon in Children's Emergency Room with Reid.  On Friday, he started sneezing and coughing which progressed.  Saturday he started wheezing and had a congested cough.  I called his doctor and they said with his age he needed to be seen.  Of course the office had just closed.  So we waited around and I just watched him but he continued to wheeze.  We got to Children's and he was wheezing the entire time up until the doctor came in.  He was alittle pistol for the doctor.  Laughing, squealing, kicking his legs and very intrigued by this new environment.  They suctioned his nose to check for RSV and took a chest xray and reported that this was viral.  RSV test was negative.  I knew that what he had was viral but I thought he needed a treatment.  Anyway, today he is more congested both in his chest and nose.  Wheezing occasionally and sneezing and coughing alot.  Still sleeping and eating good which is a blessing.   Playing hard just not for as long as his norm.  Keep us in your thoughts and prayers.
