My friend Rachel and her son Harrison who is almost 8 months old came over to visit today.  Harrison is not a big fan of loud noises.  So for those of you who are around Reid enough know that Harrison was scared and cried a few times.  With Reid's loud expressions, along with him banging things, Harrison was quite unsettled and seemed a little tense. Then it was time to go and he starting warming up to the noise and entertainment.

Here are Reid's friends at his Honey's House.  (Left to right)  Landry, Cooper, Addison and Reid.  He loves his friends.
UT Football.  A bunch of us got together, had dinner and watched the football game.  We had a great time.  We greatly enjoy our friends and family and the time we spend with them.
This is Reid and Hudson.  Hudson is the son of one of my really good friends, Kristin.
Here is Reid and Cohen.  Cohen will be 2 at the end of November and this is the first good picture we have been able to get of them together.  They are both so active and full force that we can't get both of them still, looking and smiling at the same time.
We have ourselves a little walker.  I would say that he splits his primary mode of transportation between crawling and walking.  Crawling is still the fastest.  He has accomplished some pretty long walks.  But he is still alittle impatient with it.

Just a few updates.  Reid celebrated his 11-month birthday yesterday.  He is counting down the days until the big day.  "ONE"!

Reid took three consecutive steps a couple days ago without any assistance.
We bought him his first real pair of shoes.  So, now he knows where his shoes and socks are.

He has figured out that he can push down the bumper pad and reach through and get a paci.  His crib is the home of 4-5 pacifiers.  This is where they stay unless we go somewhere.

Yes! I found access to my paci anytime I need it.

Here is where Reid's favorite friends play and take their nighty-night. This is Curious George and LeRouge Monkey.  Reid adores them.  He gives them lots of love throughout the day.

Reid gets wild jumping and climbing in his chair and loves to fall out of it on purpose.  And this week he figured out the arm rest was a great place to sit and fall off backwards.
Eating the banana like this is much better than mommy giving me little pieces.  With 6 teeth...a boy can really bit a big piece of banana.  Makes mommy and daddy alittle nervous.
